Our annual Toys-For-Tots Fundraiser Event was held this year on Saturday, December 6th, 2014.  Thanks to all of our supporters, we collected over 250 toys.  We are very happy to have helped provide local children with Christmas gifts.  These gifts give a message of hope to less fortunate children, which will in turn help these children develop into more responsible, productive, respectful young adults, which are attributes we TRULY VALUE at Dragon Fire Karate.  We are very thankful for the LOCAL BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS who donated raffle prizes for our event.  For more information on donating next year: CLICK HERE

SelfDefense

Our Self-Defense Program is for Women & Girls  Ages 12 and over

Come learn self-defense from 2-time United States Martial Arts Hall Of Famer and Illinois Instructor of the Year and Black Belt of the Year, Sensei Joe Roque. In this class, women and girls will learn realistic self-defense techniques that can be used effectively in real life situations when taught correctly. This includes breaking free from holds or grabs from various angles of attack, along with striking, kicking, and blocking. These techniques are based on instinctive principles that are easy to learn and can be performed regardless of the participant’s size, strength, speed, experience or physical ability. During these classes, women and girls will gain the confidence needed to properly defend them and protect others.  Click here for more information: Women/Girls Self Defense
